Carlos was professional and honest! We had a leak that showed up on the floor below our bathroom and we were worried something serious was going on. Carlos came and inspected the area and explained to me how i could tell if the fixtures or pipes had a leak in them and then told me that just caulking in certain area would do the trick and offered to caulk it for me. There was no upselling or making a small problem into a larger one. I would certainly contact Vern’s again for any of my plumbing issues. Thank You so much!

TDS 86 HARDNESS 4 IRON 1BPM PH 6. Customer was looking to get an estimate on a system to clear up their water. Left an estimate that has an asp2 acid neutralizer and a whole home filter and another thsy has the acid neutralizer whole home filter and not the softener. Customer will let us no their choice in the future
Converted existing gas stove from natural gas to light propane, stove is working as it should at this time with no issues. Homeowner had no other plumbing concerns or questions at this time.
Looked around Home Depot brand pure aqua softener unit, found manual online and ran units through backwash cycle Customer reported the units had not undergone a cleaning cycle in a few weeks, and was also notching smells within the hot and cold waterlines, found the water level in the brine tank was a little high and possibly caused by the incomplete backwash cycles After completing cycles checked water levels again which were good Ran water at kitchen faucet to ensure no further smells within the waterlines Spoke with customer about the units that we install and offer, and how maintenance on a waterrite unit is earlier done because of part availability, and the support team available through waterrite Emailed estimate for the installation of a new iron out softener unit
Existing 1hp well pump is drawing a constant 19 amps, this means the pump is burnt up and needs to be replaced asap. Existing piping/wire is in excellent condition so it will be reused. Told the homeowner that I cannot confirm what caused this issue until water is restored to the home. Pump depth- 497 feet Pipe- 1” poly Wire- 10-2 Installed new 1hp 5gpm Myers well pump and pump protection box. We did reuse the existing pipe/wire since it’s in excellent condition. New system is working as it should at this time with no issues. Sent copy of todays invoice to homeowners email.

Tested fixture and nothing is leaking in crawl space. Looks to be ground water. Theyre calling the people who installed the plastic in the crawl space
Arrived and found the relief valve on well holding tank was leaking slong with the pressure gage. Replaced the valve the gauge and the switch. Working as it should and isnt leaking. Water is clearer today after putting it into backwash two days ago.
Hardness of 7 ph of 7 and iron was more than 4 post unit before backwash. Iron was above a 4 before the unti and a ph of 6 hardness of 7. Took bottle of water to test
Wrote estimate to install 1054 IMPBF acid neutralizer in basement utility room. Backwash will be ran to the 3” sewer line that’s located in the utility room and power will be pulled from the existing 120v outlet next to the existing unit. Filter comes with a lifetime warranty on the tank and a 3 year warranty on the head/parts. Excavation, backfill and compaction for the repairing of existing water line. Piping within ground will be either Poly or copper piping. We will determine pipe material once exposed and inspect condition. If piping condition is good, we shall splice in a new length of pipe and removal of compromised piping. Turning water back on to house once work is completed to test repair. Once repair has been tested, we shall backfill to rough grade and seed and straw disturbed area. ---Miss Utility shall be called day of for an emergency line marking. Main water going the home has a severe break in it located on the left side of the driveway. Matt will come out with Mike PaPa on 12/5/23 to give the homeowner a estimate on replacing the entire line. Meter is located on the left side of the driveway. Existing water line crosses the driveway and enters the home on the left side of the stoop. ***Water is currently shutoff to the home due to the severity of the leak.
